Digital Intelligence Systems Foundation Course (DISFC) Practice Test

The Raven system is designed for tactical operations, emphasizing both reliable communication and operational effectiveness. One of the defining features of the Raven system is its communication range, which is specifically optimized to provide coverage for various mission scenarios, including reconnaissance and surveillance. The chosen response indicates a communication range of 10 kilometers, which aligns with the technical specifications of the Raven system.

This range allows the system to maintain effective communication and data exchange within a reasonable distance, ensuring that operators can effectively control the system and gather intelligence without being too far from the area of operations. The design considerations account for factors such as signal degradation over distance and environmental influences, balancing performance and reliability.

Other options represent distances that exceed the operational parameters of the Raven system, which could compromise its effectiveness and operational focus. By selecting a range of 10 kilometers, users can benefit from the system's capabilities while ensuring that communications remain robust and reliable within its designed operational envelope.
